As a part of Visual;Conference 2017, I was invited to give a talk on Game Engines for the development of OELVNs (Original English Language Visual Novels).

Over the course of the talk, I gave a brief discussion on the common (and not so common) game engines that are used in development of English language visual novels; including a discussion on why we decided to go with Unity for Culina: Hands in the Kitchen.

The talk was well received by the conference goers, and even the creator or the Ren’Py visual novel engine had nice things to say about it. All-in-all I was happy with how it went, but there is still plenty more I could talk about.
